APEC 2024 | Sanan Semiconductor Shows Industry Chain-wide SiC Products and Applications

From February 25th to 29th, the Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC), an international exhibition of power electronics applications, was held in Long Beach, California, USA. The event is jointly organized by the IEEE Industry Applications Society, the IEEE Power Electronics Society, and the Power Sources Manufacturers Association. It is currently one of the highest-level exhibitions and conferences in the field of power electronics worldwide. During the exhibition, well-known power electronics companies and high-end R&D personnel from related fields gathered to exchange the latest technological advancements in the industry, playing a key role in promoting the development of the industry.

Based on its independently developed silicon carbide technology, Sanan Semiconductor participated in APEC with the theme "SiC Vertical Integration Empowering the Development of Power Electronics." The company comprehensively showcased a range of products from its new technology platform, including 8-inch silicon carbide substrates, epitaxy, and a variety of series such as 1200V 16mΩ/32mR/75mΩ and 1700V 1Ω SiC MOSFETs. Sanan's silicon carbide power chips/devices focus on efficiency, reliability, and performance, providing unique advantages for applications such as DC-DC converters, motor drives, and renewable energy.

The head of marketing and sales at Sanan Semiconductor said, "We are very pleased to showcase the latest advancements in silicon carbide technology at APEC. These technologies enable our customers to achieve higher efficiency and performance in their applications."

In recent years, against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" goal (referring to carbon peak and carbon neutrality), Sanan has focused on market demand, exploring advanced application solutions for silicon carbide in scenarios and fields such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, energy storage, high-power direct current charging piles, and the industrial control industry. The company actively promotes the transformation of the energy structure towards green and low-carbon, contributing to the construction of a safe and stable ecological environment.

Through this APEC event, Sanan has established closer cooperative relationships with peers and upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain, laying a solid foundation for the company's future development in the international market.
